StarUML for Mac is an open-source project to develop a fast, flexible, extensible, featureful, and freely-available UML/MDA platform running on the Win32 platform.

UML is continuously expanding standards managed by OMG (Object Management Group). Recently, UML 2.0 is released and StarUML for macOS supports UML 2.0 and will support the latest UML standard.

How to Use
  • Open the downloaded .dmg file and drag to Applications
  • Launch StarUML from the Applications folder
  • Create a new project or open an existing one
  • Use the left panel to select diagram types
  • Drag and drop elements into the canvas to design models
  • Double-click elements to edit properties or names
  • Use the toolbar for alignment, layout, and export tools
  • Save your project as a .mdj file or export as images/pdf
  • Explore extensions via Preferences > Extension Manager
