What's new in this version:

Improved:
- Improved the ask questions panel: clearer option selection, and continue now only activates once you've answered the current question
- Hover details on the small icon chips in chat now appear almost immediately instead of after a noticeable pause
- Images and videos in chat now open in a preview window when clicked, with the option to open them in a tab instead
- Hook configurations that could never run are now rejected at load time with a clear error instead of being silently ignored
- Projects in the command palette now use the same folder icon as the sidebar, instead of a mismatched briefcase
- Opening long conversations is now dramatically faster
- You can now copy an image to your clipboard from an artifact or the file viewer, using the menu or right-click
- The conversation list now loads far faster for users with a large conversation history
- Settings descriptions now use consistent wording throughout, and two typos in the shortcut and host address settings were fixed

Fixed:
- Slash commands now work when a newline or tab separates the command from its arguments
- Conversations started by background automations no longer disappear from the sidebar list; they now appear under the scheduled-tasks filter
- Steps waiting on your input now show the icon for the tool involved, including in the permission prompt, instead of a generic bell
- Fixed the comment popup following your cursor while dragging, and whole-file comments landing on the first line with no highlight
- Agents no longer hang forever when a stop hook keeps blocking the end of a turn; the turn now finishes after repeated blocks
- Conversations that had already finished no longer stay stuck showing as running after you quit and reopen the app
- Fixed hovering a message revealing the Stop button on every running subagent card; now only the card you hover shows it
- The Review Changes button's keyboard focus outline now wraps the entire button instead of only part of it
- Hooks that call a model now stop at their configured timeout with a clear error, instead of stalling the agent indefinitely
- Pasting plain multi-line text into the chat box no longer adds an extra blank line between each line
- Fixed pinning and unpinning a conversation often failing on the first click and snapping back, forcing you to click repeatedly
- Commands still running no longer display a nonsensical negative elapsed time when their start time is missing
- Fixed administrator policies for connected tool servers being skipped at startup, which could let restricted servers start without their required settings
- Fixed agents losing access to their built-in helpers, so research, browser and teamwork assistants work again
- Fixed the wrong keyboard shortcut being displayed for toggling the side panel
- Fixed the built-in browser inspection tool being wrongly blocked when your organization restricts which tool servers can run
- Stopping a subagent now also stops everything it spawned, including nested subagents and their background tasks, instead of leaving them running
- Fixed long answers and previews periodically jumping back to the top and losing your scroll position while you read
- Custom hooks you define now run at the end of a turn instead of being skipped before they could fire
- Fixed a crash that happened when you selected a region of an image and submitted a comment on it
- Fixed a stray outline around the pending-step badge in the conversation list under some themes
