In addition to very simple tools that are promoted on its main dashboard to be used by novices, immediately under the surface of Max for macOS users can find deep customization options that can be used to completely control the process of conversion and the quality, type and size of final converted files. Users can even control how much hardware can be dedicated to the conversion process, and enter metadata into final files, which is great for owners of large music libraries. Converted files can also be automatically sent to your iTunes library, from which your music can be easily synced to all your home or portable devices.
In addition of supporting all major audio formats (such as MP3, AAC, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, Apple Lossless, WAVE, WavPack, Monkey's Audio, AIFF and more), Max for Mac collects album data from MusicBrainz online service, has configurable control over entire conversion process, and great visual representation of hardware utilization, plugins information, and conversion results that is shown during conversion.
