Krisp for Mac is your new friendly noise cancelling desktop app for macOS, which removes background noise during calls. It works bi-directionally, which means that you won't hear the noise coming from other call participants, and they won't hear the noise coming from you.

Noise cancelling software works smoothly in real-time without lags, so your calls will be uninterrupted and completely noiseless. It recognizes and removes background noise in calls in real-time, leaving only your clean voice.

Krisp for macOS adds an additional layer between the physical microphone/speaker and conferencing app of your choice.  To remove the noise coming from other participants to you (Krisp Speaker), the audio is received from the conferencing app, processed on your device to remove noise, and then transmitted to your physical speakers.

Make sure you have the latest version of the app. You can finish the integration with any app in 3 steps:
  • Locate and open Audio Settings in the target app
  • Change the microphone to krisp microphone
  • Change the speaker to krisp speaker

It adds an additional layer between your physical microphone/speaker and conferencing apps, which doesn’t let any noise pass through. All audio processing is done directly on your device, it is not stored anywhere or sent to any servers. The noise cancellation app performs all audio processing locally. Your voice and audio never leave the device.

What's new in this version:

- This release brings a major boost to your meeting recording experience with the introduction of in-person meeting support. We’ve also redesigned the app’s meeting controls, introduced a new version of Accent Conversion for more natural speech, and added talk time tracking in the Krisp Widget. A few bug fixes are also included to help keep things running smoothly in the background.

New features and improvements:
- Introducing in-person meeting recordings: You can now record offline meetings directly from the Krisp app using the new Record In-person button. You can start, pause, or stop the recording at any time, and switch between Transcript, Audio + Transcript, or Screen recording modes.
- Accent Conversion(AC) v3.5: The new version brings major improvements in speech clarity, naturalness, pronunciation, and voice stability, while better preserving the speaker’s original voice.
- Redesigned meeting controls in Krisp app: We’ve updated the app’s meeting controls to make things simpler and more intuitive. The old My Meetings button has been replaced with Past Meetings and Agenda, giving you quicker access to your meeting history and planning tools.

Fixed:
- Fixed screen sharing selection for Zoom meetings: We’ve resolved a bug where the screen selection window appeared empty when starting a recording from the meeting notification. You’ll now see available screens correctly and can start screen recording without interruptions.
- Fixed call duration issue with Resolve app (reported case): We have addressed a reported case where a recorded meeting exceeded the 4-hour call duration limit. The system now correctly enforces the maximum limit to prevent overly long sessions.
- Fixed misaligned app update progress bar: We’ve corrected a visual glitch where the green progress bar didn’t align with the download bar during updates. This fix ensures a cleaner, more accurate update experience.
