Sometimes latest versions of the software can cause issues when installed on older devices or devices running an older version of the operating system. Software makers usually fix these issues but it can take them some time. What you can do in the meantime is to download and install an older version of Cocktail 16.2.2.

What's new in this version:

- Address an issue in which Cocktail may not work properly on systems that were running macOS Monterey and were (instead of a clean install) upgraded to macOS Ventura
- Resolves a number of compatibility issues with macOS Ventura discovered in the previous release of Cocktail
- Updated Launch Daemons
- Made clean-up of environment variables more reliable
- Added a workaround for a technical issue in macOS which could cause some sandbox-protected applications to revert modified preference settings if they were restarted to soon after changing the setting
- In order to avoid unintentional selection of some options by mouse clicks resulting from window reordering, the empty spaces behind option texts have been made unsensitive to clicks
