The official X (Twitter) Mac desktop client that allows you to quickly access your account, browse your friends tweets, post your own and much more.

How do I get started?

Download Twitter for macOS from FileHorse or Mac App Store. Launch the application, and then enter your Twitter account credentials. If you don’t have an account yet, click the Sign Up button to get started.

Once you’re logged in, you will be able to conveniently navigate to your Home timeline, profile, mentions, Direct Messages, lists, and search.

New updates for these features will auto-refresh, but you can also select Refresh from the File drop-down menu at any time.

How to Use
  • Download X from the Mac App Store
  • Open the app and log in with your X account
  • Use the Home tab to browse your feed
  • Click the feather icon to post a tweet
  • Use the Search tab to explore trending topics
  • Click on your profile icon to view your tweets
  • Adjust settings via the sidebar > Settings
  • Enable dark mode in Appearance settings
  • Mute or block accounts from user profiles
  • Receive notifications via Mac’s system alerts
