What's new in this version:

New:
- Additional AltiVec acceleration for VP9 WebM video decoding
- AltiVec acceleration for PNG image decoding is now supported
- Performance improvements to VP8 WebM video decoding
- Additional layout, HTML5 and DOM feature support
- Additional AltiVec optimizations on G4 and G5 systems
- Multiple improvements to layout, DOM and JavaScript performance

Fixed:
- All relevant security and stability fixes from Firefox ESR 52.6.0, including additional mitigation for the Spectre attack
- The impact of inactive and background tabs is reduced
- Certain types of animated SVGs now properly display
- OCSP checks are disabled for DV certificates, which is consistent with current versions of Firefox and improves TLS performance. OCSP checks still occur for EV certificates
- The session store frequency has been reduced and the amount of data written per store cycle also reduced to improve browser responsiveness and SSD lifetime. As part of these changes, old recently closed tabs will be purged after 24 hours instead of two weeks to reclaim memory and reduce overhead
