Prizmo for Mac is a scanning application with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) in over 40 languages with powerful editing capability, text-to-speech, and iCloud support. Prizmo for macOS can be used by everyone, thanks to its support of VoiceOver.

No matter what capture device's at hand, the program is the key for scanning and recognizing text. It works with pictures taken with your iPhone, iPad, or digital camera, with documents coming from connected or Wi-Fi scanners, even with screenshots! It will help you easily scan any documents (invoices, receipts, boards, giant advertisements...), as well as process business cards.

Prizmo for Mac supports the latest macOS Yosemite enhancements like Handoff, extensions, and third-party exports. Thanks to iCloud and Handoff, the tool makes a perfect match with the iPhone/iPad version of the app, optimized for iOS 8. Besides, the user interface has been revamped in order to take advantage of Yosemite's translucency, vibrancy, and clarity.

Time has come for Mac users who were waiting for a powerful OCR application. The app is a user-friendly and reliable solution all Mac users can afford. It integrates state-of-the-art OCR technologies and supports multipage documents. The tool's built-in OCR Engine is state-of-the-art technology, but it can sometimes be mistaken. That's why the app enables you to update recognized information in several smart ways.

Note: Will randomly replace some words as hidden character sequences. Some features are disabled.

What's new in this version:

Prizmo 4.6.1

Prizmo 4.6
- Optimized for macOS Sonoma
- Added Vietnamese and Thai support for on-device OCR
- Fixed a crash affecting OCR on documents with an intricate layout
- Prizmo now requires macOS 10.15 or later to run

Prizmo 4.5.1

This improves the overall quality of exported PDF, while preserving a small file size (ideal for archiving).

Prizmo 4.2.2
Fixed:
- a bug where Prizmo would display a black page when created from a TIFF picture
